Cambridge Examinations

At Coolum Christian International College our Cambridge Preparation Courses have been designed to prepare you to successfully complete the examinations which you have enrolled in.   The courses feature:

• Three full mock exams that simulate the real exams
• Regular mock speaking exams with comprehensive feedback from your teacher
• A range of study materials and practice tests which can be used for extra study in the Student Lounge or at home

Cambridge  Course Information

PET  Level B1

PET tests written and spoken language at an intermediate level.  Students must show they can use English for everyday written and spoken communications e.g. read simple textbooks and articles, write simple personal letters, make notes during a meeting.

FCE  Level B2

FCE tests the ability to deal confidently with a range of written and spoken English communications.  This qualification is recognized by many universities as proof of being able to study in English.

CAE  Level C1

This advanced certificate indicates an ability to deal confidently with English in most professional, academic and social situations.  Being able to use different kinds of English appropriately for different situations is also tested.

CPE  Level C2

This is the highest level exam.  Candidates must display fluency and precision in spoken and written English very close to that of a native speaker, even when dealing with complex subjects and situations.

The Cambridge Exam preparation course is not suitable for students on student’s visas.
